Welcome to Fabulous Fiction Finds! I am Elise Friedman, professor of creative writing, and compulsive reader and writer. Both reading and writing are inseparable parts of my work life and leisure; as a teacher, words and their derivatives form the basis of our class discussions about the stories we read, and the craft we aim to perfect , and as a writer, my readings inspire my writings and encourage me to experiment with language. For all writers, the words of our predecessors present us with a rich and diverse color palette, and our ability to find meaning and understand technique is essential to innovating with our own canvases.
